  First in new Version 5.0 series. Also introducing new versioning scheme --> internalVersion.revision-nginx.version.revision

  New in v5.x:

  • container generates missing DHParams, leaner code, even easier to use
  • container can generate self-signed certificates if desired
  • helper scripts are generated in the repo but hosted via HTTPS download
  • added status checking and container stop/remove in helper script
  • cleaned up minor annoyances with update script
  • update script creates immediately usable directory structure for helper script
  • using NGINX mainline 1.21.1
